Actress Lana Wood in tears speaking about her situation with Inside Edition

As previously reported on 29 March, actress Lana Wood, who played Plenty O’Toole alongside Sean Connery in the 1971 James Bond thriller ‘Diamonds Are Forever’, has fallen on hard times. Not being able to pay the rent caused her to loose her home and forced her to move into a motel with her daughter and grandchildren.

American tabloid news magazine Inside Edition spoke to Lana who clearly struggles with the situation and make the best of it for the time being.

The GoFundme campaign set up by Gregor Gillespie on behalf of Lana Wood has now reached the set goal of $ 10.000 and even surpassed it by almost $ 4.000. Many Bond Fans have also donated, among them many well-known within the Bond community such as Graham Rye of 007 Magazine, filming location expert Martijn Mulder or writer Steve Oxenrider who has contributed to many books about James Bond. With Luciana Paluzzi Solomon, even a former Bond Girl is among the supporters. In 1965, she played SPECTRE assassin Fiona Volpe in ‘Thunderball’, also alongside Sean Connery.

Please continue donating to help Lana and her family get back on her feet. Any amount helps and is very much appreciated!
